BYLAWS DESCRIPTION: The Social Director shall arrange all FLWGA social events.  She will appoint her own committee(s) for assistance, as she deems necessary.  
DUTIES include but may not be limited to:  

  • Form a Social Committee to help with social events 

  • Prepare and manage the budget for social events  

  • Plan a minimum of three major parties each year, typically the KickOff Party, the Pool Party and the Holiday Party.   o Work with the Golf Club or outside vendors to plan menus, including beverages 

  • Plan and set out decorations; coordinate set up and cleanup of the party 

  • Arrange for entertainment if needed 

  • When needed, work with Tournament and Scramble chairpersons and the Golf Club to plan lunches, decorations, set up and clean up. 

PREFERRED SKILLS:  Good coordination and negotiating skills, interest in event planning
